Tilting Rotary Barrels

Tilting Rotary Barrel systems are a type of  finishing machine that offers a different option to vibratory finishing, these machines are very good for delicate and flat components, the rotary action allows the parts to slide and tumble rather than rotate like the circular bowl, this prevents parts sticking together and reduces the risk of damage.

This machine is also fitted with a rotary valve which allows you to add water or for rinsing the parts before discharging.

Tilting and unloading:

When the process is finished, you have the additional option to tilt the barrel forward to allow parts and media to be emptied for separation, when empty return to the upright position in readiness for the next operation. Optional extra discharge door is available upon request for ease of discharge.

These machines come with a variable speed controller, this gives versatility and allows you to dictate the speed of the rotation, this is a big advantage, especially when polishing.

Applications

The rotary barrel comes with a polyurethane lining for protection of parts during processing, it is also fitted with a door on the front, it is part perforated, this allows rinsing while processing, and stops media and parts from exiting the machine while processing.
